The boys of the C. U. V. U.
Clab entertained a number of
their friends last evening at the
home ¢ f one of its members, Mr,
Roy Butts, The guests drove out
to the Butts home, straw-ride
fashion. The Club first held its
business meeting, electing new
cficers for the ensuing year. Af
ter the meeting the girls joined
the boys on the lawn, where they
spent several hours playing numer
ous games when they were d%lled
to participate in a water mellon
cutting, Later ice cream and cake

National Encampment of the
Grand Army of the Republic. The
route they take carries shem
through Chicago, Denver, Royal
Gorge, Salt Lake City, San Fran
cisco, thence to Los Angeles.
They will retu:n a differeut route,
and in a!l wili have traveled about
7.500 miles. :
