,- R s Of course we believe that the people of Ben Hill and adjoining counties have:
A Statement to the Pubhc + watched and know the progress we have made in the past few yegrs here in the
mercantile business. Always being a believer and having confidence in Fitzgerald and Ben Hill County. We have expanded
until today we are interested in the Central W arehouse, selling Columbus Wagons and Pittsburg Steel Co's Perfect Wire
‘Fencing. We find now that we have not enough goods of some kind and too much of another. Our place being not extra
large, we find that have either to do one of two things, either sell out our stock or keep the same and offer the public goods next
season that has been on our shelves the previous year. |
" After due consideration we have decided to sell our stock and start the new season with an extra new line of goods. Now
“how to sell the stock was the question. We first decided to offer this stock to a Baltimore concern at 60c on the $l.OO, but
she question arose, what was the use of giving the people of Baltimore the bargain---let the home people have it. These peo
ple that give us their support from year to year. What is the matter with saving some money to home foiks?
We then decided to dispose of our stock marking our soods down at such prices that will move them quickly, no
matter what the sacrifice may be. ~
The motto of this sale: Let the goods go for what they will bring--no matter the sacrifice! We want to open
this tall season with a better and finer line of goods. We want everything to be up to the highest standard doing
business on a higher and better plan. We want to malke the name of DODD SUPPLY COMPANY a household
word in Ben Hill county for first-class, up-to-date goods.
