AYER’S AGUE CI RE,
FOft the jpwJy cure nf Interm'tfent Fever, or Fever

Periodical Headache, or Bilious Headache, and Bilious fc- j
Vers, Indeed (or the whole olasa of diseased originating iu •
b.liary derangement, cau-ed by the .Malaria of miasmatic
countries. * |
No one remedy is louder called for by the necessities of
the American people than a sure and sale cure for Fever
and Ague. Such we are now enabled to offer, with a perfect
certainty that it will eradicate the disease, and with assur
ance, founded on proof, that no harm cau arise from its
use in any quantity.
That which protects from or prevents fids disorder must
be of fro men se service in the communities where it prevails.
Pr< r. niton is better Sian cure, for the patient escapes the
risk which he must run in violent attacks of this baleful
distemper. This “Cent” expels the miasmatic poison of
Fi vsr and Ague from the system and prevents the develop
ment of the disease, If taken on tbe first approach of its
premonllory symptoms. It is not only the best remeds
ever yet discovered for ibis class of complaints, but also
tbe cheapest. The large quantity we supply for a dollar
brings it within the reach of every body ; and In bilious dis
tricts, where Fever and Ague prevails, every body should
have it and use it freely both for cure and protection. It
is hoped this price will place it within tin* reach of all—the
poor us well as the rich. A grea- superiority of this reme-
dy over any other ever discovered for the a;nedy and cer
tain cure of Intermittent* is, that it contains no Quinine or
mineral, consequently it produces no quinism or other inju
lious effects whatever upon the constitution. Those cured
by it are left as healthy as if they had never bad the disease.
Fever anti Ague is not alone the consequence of the mias
matic poison. A great variety of disorders arise from its
irritation, among which are Neuralgia, Rheumatism, Gout,
Headache, Blindness, Toothache, Earache,Catarrh, Asthma
Palpitation, Painful Affection of the Spleen, Hysterics, Pain
in tiie Bowels, Colic, Paralysis, and Derangement of the
Stomach, ail of which, when originating in this cause, pat
on the intermittent type, or become periodical. This“CritE”
expels the poison from the blood, and consequently cures
them all alike It Dan invaluable protection to immigrants
and persons traveling or Umporardy residing in the mala
rious districts. If taken occasionally or daily while expos
ed to the infection, that will be exeereted from thb system,
and cannot accumulate in sufficient quantity to ripen into
disease. Hence it is even more valuable for protection than
cure, and few will ever suffer from Intermittent*, if they
avail themselves of tbe protection tills remedy affords.

Not only do they cure the every day complaints of every
body, but also many formidable and dangerous diseases. —
The agent below named is pleased to furnish gratis my
American Almanac, contining certificates of their cures and
directions for their use in the following complaints: Cos
tiveness, Heartburn, Headache arising from disordered
Stomach, Nausea, Indigestion. Pain in arid Morbid Inaction
of the Bowels, Flatulency, Loss of Appetite, Jaundice, and
other kindred complaints, arising from a low state of the
body or obstruction of its functions. They are an excellent
alterative for the renovation of the blood and strength to
the system debilitated by disease.
AVER'S €ll ERRV PECTORAL,
for the rapid cure of Coughs, Colds, Influenza, Hoarseness,
Croup, Bronchitis, Incipient Consumption, and for the re
lief of Consumptive Patients in advanced stages of the
disease.
So wide is the field of its usefulness and so numerous are
the ca-es of Its cures, that almost every section of country
abounds in persons publicly known, who have been restored
from alarming and even desperate diseases of the lungs by
its use. When once tried, its superiority over every other
medicine of its kind is too apparent to escape observation,
and where its virtues are known, the public no longer hesi
tate what antidote to employ for the distressing and dan
gerous affections of the pulmonary organs that are incident
to -our climate. While many inferior remedies thrust upon
the community have failed and been discarded, this has
gained friends by every trial, conferred benefits on the
afflicted they can never forget, and produced cures too nu
merous and too remarkable to be forgotten.

It must he obvious not only to you, but to every attentive
and intelligent person, that the first diseases of iufauts arise
chiefly from a disordered condition of their bowels, and in
this connection, we present to your notice for the allevia
tion and cure of these diseases, a remedy known as
Ur. EATON’S INFANTILE CORDIAL.
Prepared from a formula used by Dr. Eaton w>th remarka
ble success during several years’ practice, we knew it to be
a most reliable and efficacious remedy for infantile com
plaints, and one trial alone will convince you of its supe
riority over every other preparation of the kind. It is
particularly recommended
For Cliildmi Tcothiiii;.
And at this period of infantile life, when your anxious hearts
are pained by witnessing the suffering of your little ones, it
will be found invaluable in Softening the Gums, Reducing
In.damation, and Relieving all Pain. F>r Diseases attend -
ing Teething, such, as Diarrhtea, Dysentery, Griping in the
Bowels, Acidity of the Htomach, tA ind, Colic, and Cojd in
the Head, we confidently offer this as a certain relief and
cure in every case when given in time. It will Invariably
regulate the stomach and bowels, and its importance in this
respect can hardly be estimated.
11l Convulsions,
from which more infants are said to die than from any
other disease, the little sufferer Is relieved instantaneously
as if by magic; and in this dread complaint alone, its in
trinsic value is such that ithasheen recommended from one
family to another, until the name of Dr Eaton’s Infantile

now ask your attention to a subject o’ vital interest to your
self, as we’l as to your suffering child. Dr. Eaton’s Infan

Hostellers Stomach Litters.
THE Proprietors and Manufacturers of IiOs3TETTER’S
CELEBRATED STOMACH BITTERS can appeal with
perfect confidence to physicians and citizens generally of
the United States, because the aiticlehas att imtd a repu
tation heretofore unknown. A few facts upon this point
wilt speak more powerfully than volumes ol hare asseition
or blazoning effrontery. The consumption of Hostetler's
Stomach Bitters for the last year amounted to over a half
miniou outlies, and from its manifest steady increase in
times past, it is evident that during the coming year the
consumption will reach near one million bottles. This im
mense amount could never have been sold Put for the rare
medicinal properties contained in the preparation, and the
sanction of the most prominent physicians !n those sections
oi the country where the article is best kiu.v n, who not on
ly recommend the Bitters to their patients, but arc ready at
all times to give testimonials to Its efficacy in ill cases of
stomachic derangements and the diseases resulting there
from.
This is not a temporary popularity, obtained by extraor
dinary efforts in the way of trumpeting the c >titles of the
Bitters, but a solid estimation of an invaluable medicine,
which is destined to be as enduring ::s time it- if.
Hostetler’s Stomach Bitters have proved a Godsend to
r-gions where fever and ague an 1 various other bilious
complaints have counted their victims by 1: i.ditds. To
be able to state confidently tliat the “ Bitters” are a certain
cure of the Dyspepsia, and like diseases, it to the proprie

matter worn the stomach, purifies the ldi od.r.i and imparts
renewed vitality to the nerr ous system, t ivir.g it that tone
and energy indispensable for the restorat’- 1 • f health. It
operates upon the stomach, liver, and othn- c- :. stit e or
gans, mildly but powerfully, and soon re.’ t in - tbt m to a
condition essential to the healthy dischaige of the func
tions of nature.
Elderly persons may use the Bitters daily as per direc
