county, after an illness of two days of inflammation of
the brain, Ackkj.ius, iufant son of U. R. and Frances
Jl, Milner, aged 18 months and 13 days.
1 ear Aurelius. We loved thee much, why couldst
Thou not stay ? Thou wast our joy, the idol
Os our youthful hearts. Our first begotten,
Our only child. But farewell, it is best
Thou art gone, thou art needed in heaven ;
And to day thy sweet voicesings aSaviour’s love.
And while thou beholdest our grief, thy Mother pierced
And thy Father, because thou art taken from us,
Methiuks, tliou art saying Be comforted my Father
And my Mother; and with playful innocence
Dost extend thy tiny arms, as thou used to do,
And beckon us to come and share thy bliss.
Blest boy. We hear thy spirits voice, we herd its call,
And soon, we will go and be with thee.
