Opinion of the Prominent Druggists in

Dear StR:--I became your agent without feeling
any interest in the medicine, hut I soon hecame very
much interested, upun seeing the happy effect it hail
upon many persons. Tlie increased sales in tliig State
are truly astonishing. 1 might have collected an>-
nuniher of certificates of its great power in relieving
pain, if I had attended to it at the time the cures came
tut 'or my observation. The least 1 can say of the Pain
Killer is, that it fully answers the purposes fur w hich
it is recommended
A. W HATCH, Druggist, Milwaukee.
We call attention to the great remedy of Perry Davis
& Son called the Pain Killer. We believe that the pub

this medicine, as it is in this State very general y used.

There is nothing as yet surpassed Perry Davis’ Veg

As a means of removing pain from the body no medi

These are among Ihe most terrible ar.d agonizing dis

Discoursing Ulcers.
A most remarkable and happy change is produced in
the appearance of malignant ulcers alter a few applica

place o' the discharged matter. This process goes on
more or less rapidly, until the orifi -e is filled up with
sound material, and the ulcer radically cured.
A Word to Mothers.

“ Dr. J. C. Ayer. Dear Sir: I have been afflicted from mv birth
with scrofula in its worst form, and now, after twenty years’ trial
and an untold amount of suffering, have been completely cured
iu a few weeks by your Pillc With what feelings of rejoicing I
write, can only be imagined when you realize what I have suffered,
and how king.
“ Never until now have I been free from this loathsome disease
in some shape. At times it attacked my eyes, and made me al
most blind, besides the unendurable pain : at others it settled in
the scalp of my head, and destroyed my hair, and has kept ms
partly bald all my days; sometimes it came out in my face and
kept it for mouths a raw soro.
“ About nine weeks ago I commenced taking your Cathartic
Pills, aud now am entirely free from the complaint. Mv eyes are
well, my skin is fay*, aud my hair has commenced a healthy
growth : all of which mokes me feel already a new person. 3
“ Hoping this statement may be the means of conveying infor
mation that shall do good to others, I am, with every sentiment
of gratitude, Yours, Ac.,
MARIA RICKER.”
“ I have known the above-named Maria Ricker from her child
hood, aud her statement is strictly true.

Capt. JOEL PRATT, of the ship Marion, writes from Boston
20th April, 1854,—
“ Your Pills have cured me from a bilious attack which arose
from derangement of tlie Liver, which had become very serious.
I had failed of any relief by my Physician, and from every
remedy I could try; but a few doses of your Pills have completely
restored me to health. I have given them to mv children for
worms, with the best effects. They were promptly cured. 1
recommended them to a friend for costiveness, which hud troubled
him for months; he told me in a few days they had cured him
You make tho best medicine in tho world, and I am free to
say so.”
Read this from the distinguished Solicitor of tho Supremo Court
whose brilliant abilities have made him well known, not only
iu this but the neighboring States
M New Orleans, 5th April, 1S54.
“ Sip. : I have great satisfaction in assuring you that myself
and family have been very much benefited by your medicines.
My wife was cored, two years since, of a severe*and dangerous
cough, by your Cherry Pectoral, and since then has enjoyed
perfect health. My children have several times been cured from
attacks of the Influenza and Croup by it It is an invaluftbls
remedy for these complaints. Your Cathartic Pills have en
tirely cured me from a dyspepsia and coetiveness which havo
grown upon me for some years: indeed, this cure is much mor» im
portant. from the fact that I had failed to get relief from the best
Physicians which this section of the country affords, and from
any of the numerous remedies I had taken.
“ You seem to us, Doctor, like a providential blessing to our
family, and you may well suppose we are not unmindful of it
Yours respectfully,
LEAVITT TITAXTER.”
“ Senate Chamber, Ohio, April bth, 1854.
“ Dr. J. C. Ayer. Honored Sir: I have made a thorough trial
of the Cathartic Pills left me by your agent, and have been
cured by them of tne dreadful Rheumatism under which he
found me suffering. Tho first dose relieved me, and a few subse
quent doses have entirely removed the disease. I feel in better
health now than for some years before, which I attribute entirely
to the effects of your Cathartic Pills.
Yours with great respect,
LUCIUS B. METCALF.”
