Excelsio r Hand Loom!!
T HIS important labor saving machine for do
mestic manufactory, is destined to supersede
and drive ont of nse all other hand looms that
have their treaddles operated by the action of the
feet, and the shuttle thrown by the hand. The
construction is
SIMPLE, CHEAP, AND DURABLE 1
From its great simplicity, Tt is hot subject to
get out of order, and the entire machine com
plete, can be made by any ordinary carpenter.
The advantages it possesses over the old Fash
ioned loom, consist in all its parts being SELF
CHANGING, requiring no skill to weave. It
is neat and convenient, and on it one can weave
THREE TIMES AS MUCH CLOTH as on the
old fashioned loom, and WITH LESS LABOR!
The cost is no more than the old, and is equally
adapted to all kinds of domestic weaving.
John H. Wisdom offers to sell the Patent
Right of the above loom for the counties of Floyd
and Polk by Counties Or Districts, he also has
a supply of the Looms which he will sell at pri
ces to suit tho times Jan 30 '55 tf.

prone to endorse every patent humbug that comes alone,
and in this instance have delayed our endorsement until
we have been able to make assurance doubly sure, not only
by testing them personally ourselves, but from the testi
