by a second notice of Mr Cliristie’s, who has un
doubtedly claims r.guinst them, which, when
finally liquidated on the decision of the suit
now pending, they will try to satisfy as soon as
possible thereafter.
The deeds under which Mr Christie claims
an exclusive right to all the real and personal
estate of Carnochan Ik Mitchel, are considered
as informal, unjust and illegal. Hence they
have been brought and are still before the court,
and other deeds have been executed and re
corded, conveying the property foe the use*of
all their creditors, Mr Christie included, with
out any trull or reservation beneficial to C. &
M. or their families j and if this be not agreea
ble to that gentleman, it must nevertheless ap
pear fair and equitable to the public and ull who
have * sense of justice.
The Trustees under the late deed* are anx
ious to sell the Lands in Florida, alluded to in
the notice of Mr Christie, and to H»ply the pro-,
cecils to the immediate payment of part of Ids
demand, and deposit a sufficiency thereof to co
ver all Ids claim, subject to the decision of the
court—b\it his opposition to any reasonable sale,
as one interested in his own right, whilst injur
ing ail parties concerned, must be borne until a
side con be made under an order of court.
