O N the Petition of John M’Nish of Sa
vannah, in the county of Chxtham,
stating that John Conner in his life time,
to wit. On the 27th day of July, A. D. 1820,
executed to him his two several bonds, in
the penal sum of two hundred dollars each,
conditioned for the payment of one hun
dred dollars each; on the first days of Ja
nuary, in the years of our Lord one thou
sand eight hundred and twenty one, and
one thousand eight hundred and twenty-
two; and for the better securing the pay*
ment thereofjlhe said John Conner on the
said twenty-seventh day of July, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and twenty, did make his certain deed
of mortgage, whereby he mortguged
to him, iiis heirs, executors, administra
tors, and assigns, all that piece or par
cel of Land, containing three hundred
acres more or less, being the South East
end of a four hundred acre tract ot land,
originally granted to William M’lntnsh, si
tuate lyiug tmd being on the south side of
the Great Satilla River and waters thereof,
in the countv of Camden, and State afore
said ; and which, by a chain of conveyances
became the property of the said John M’
Nish, and W83 sold by him to the said John
Conner: That there is now due and un
paid, on the said bonds and moitgnge, the
principal sum of Two hundred Dollars, with
•awful interest on each of the said sums of
one hundred Dollars, from the first day ol
.lanuary one thousand eight hundred and
twenty one, and from theli.svday of Janu
ary one thousand eight hundred and twenty
two; and praying the Foreclosure of the
Equity of Redemption of the said Joi n
Conner, his heirs, executors, administra*
tors, and assigns of, in and to the said mort
gaged premises; and that the said mort
gaged premises may be sold at public auc
tion, according to the Statute in such case
