Bishop Turner, who created such
a sensation throughout the United
States ,ln his Macon speech, when he
so severely criticized the United
States, account of which appeared in
the Valdosta Times of Nov. 22d Is
expected to say some sensational
things during the conference. Those
who know Bishop Turner, know him
to be the leading exponent of African
emigration, and when he makes his
annual address tomorrow there Is no
telling what he will say.
The conference In session here, Is
the largest Methodist conference in
the world without regard to color or
denomination. The African Metho*
dist church Is a distinct negro organ-
