had the following to say in regard to
the case against A. A. Marshal),
the president of a Mexican Mining
Company, who was arrested here on
Wednesday:
“Officer Holcomb went to Valdosta
for the prisoner and brought him to
police headquarters Wednesday
night. Marshall was allowed to en
gage the services of a special guard

Privileges Near Tifton.
Mr. W. L. Fendejf yesterday sold
the milling privilege on two thousand
acres near Tifton to the Morgan
Milling Company for $14,000.
Mr. . Fender bought this property
a year ago and has been getting the
naval store products from It.
He bought the property very
cheap, the turpentine privilege more
than paying what it cost him.
