Six Houses Set on Fire and

are dead, three are dying and many
were Injured In an exploelon today
at the. Belt Oil Plant, in North St.

J. C. Herrington, a farmer near
Hahlra, had fifty births on his farm

to eleven, and a hen hatched twen
ty-six chickens. All of this happened
on the l5th of the month.

Misused the Money.
A colored contractor named Spen
cer Nathan was arrested by Sheriff
Gofnte yesterday on n Warrant bworn
by Viola Green charging him with
a misdemeanor.
It seems that. the woman had a
house built and Nnthhn 'lid the-
work. She claims that she gave-
Nathan the money to (buy matorlal
and that later the bill for the ma
terial came up against her.
Nathan says that she made
changes in the plan for the house-
which made It ooet more nnd that
he spent every cent he got from her
on the house. The case will be
alrod in the court here at an early
date.
