Governor Brown that a State Com
mission of Roads be established.
Owing to the fact that this matter
is of the greatest importance to tho
counties of South Georgia, the asso
ciation will probably take come act
ion upon it.
What Governor Brown hopes to
accomplish by a state commission Is
just what the South Georgia Good
Roads Association is trying to do in
an unofficial way. A« a matter of
course a .commission clothed with
authority from the state would be
in a position to do much more good
than a committee of citizens, and it
In believed that all people who have
had any experience in the matter
of public roads will favor the com-
mlselon.
This Is one of the many Impor
tant matters to come before the,
Statesboro meeting. Prom the In
formation received from nnmerous
South Georgja counties things bid
fair to have a delegation from ser-
enty-flv© per cent, of them. Coun

the president, L. V. Williams, Way-

ciation should do so at once and be
enrolled.
