J E. the Trustees ami Patrons of this In
stitutiou, feel great pleasure in recommt n
ding this school to the favorable notice of the pub
lie. Having gone into operation iu January las'
under the Rectorship of the Rev, Peter McIntyre,
its success has far exceeded our most sanguine
expectations. We therefore feel much assured
that those who will favor this rising institution with
HIPPERS arc informed that the'STEAM j their patronage, will, generally be much pleased
BOAT CHARLESTON, Capt. John with the result; that the course aud method ofin-
Bonuell is added to the line to ply constantly du- struction, will, in due time, eusurc a thorough pre
paration for collegiate admission, as well ns a rea
dy capacity for the various employments of life.
Rates of tuition not exceeding what is customary.
The regular quarterly entries are on the first Mon
well suited to the trade, and their coinmauders
careful aud experienced tneu. The facilities of
this line, wbetr taken in connexion with the
increased, and constantly increasing facilities of
Steam Boats, aud other conveyances, on the
waters of the Altamnha River, render the traus
portation of merchandise aud produce between
New York, Macon aud Millegcville, and a large
portion of that section of Georgia lying west of
the Ocouco River, cheaper and more speedily than
by any other route—and it is confidently expect
ed that the advantages afforded to the public by
this Line of Packets, will ensure it a continuance
of tile support which it has heretofore received :
aud justify tho increased expense which the pro
prietors have been at, in adding to the I.iuc the
fine new Brie, Amelia Strong, uoiv on her first
voyage.
