Hamburg, for the storage nf cotton and
tobacco.—A tobaren inspection to he kept
therein. This warehouse, fur convenience
nnd safety frnm fire, if not superior, is In
ferior to none iu tills part ol the country—
It is 900 feet in length and 50 feet in width,
with a plank floor—situated in the centre
of the town, on the bank of the Savannah
River, nnd within 100 feet nf the stream.
The other three sides are bounded bv
streets, one of 100 feet.one of 100 feet,and
one of 80 leet. Two platforms will ex
tend from the warehouse In the river; so
tlint cotton will ho put on boats without
touching the ground, except when the riv
er is very low.

other city or town in the up-country.

ced uni ss it is founded on a solid basis j
and should other be taken in the market,
or should any monied institution in which
the market and country are interested, go
beyond whai might be considered just and
prudent, immediate notice of.it will be gl
ven, without fear or favor.
