BLOOD POISON CURED
A Desperate Struggle and How It Endec.
' Just 27 miles from the classic city of Athens, da., is located the thriv-
Job little town of Maxey’s the residence of Mr. Robert Ward, who has
last been released from the most perilous predicament, the particulars
of which he has consented to give to the public. He writes tas follows:
Mnxev’s Ogle’horpe Co., Ga., July 1.
For 12 or 14 years I have been a great sufferer with a terrible form of
.-{Mood Poison, (Syphilis), which ran into the secondary, and tlnally it was
pronounced a ternary form. My head, face and shoulders became almost
tL solid mass of corruption, and finally the disease commenced eating
ftway my skull hones. I became so horribly repulsive that for three years
4 ^absolutely refused to let people see me. I used large quantities of the
most noted blood remedies, and applied to nearly all physicians near me,
but my condition continued tot grow worse, and all said l must surely die.
My bones became the seat of excruciating aches and pains; my nights
were passed in misery: I was reduced In flesh and strength; my kid
neys wore terribly deranged, and life became a burden to me.
I chanced to see an advertisement of B. B. B., and sent $1 to W. C.
Birchmore & Co., merchants of our place, and they procured one bottle for
me. It was used with decided benefit, l continued Its uso and when eight
’• or ten bottles had been used was pronounced sound and well.
•O Hundreds of scars can now be seen on me, looking like a man who
££ bad been burned and then restored. My case is well known in this coun
ty, and for the benefit of others who may be similarly affected, I think
It my duty to give facts to the public, and to extbud my heartfelt thanks
Cor so valuable a remedy. I have been well over 12 mouths, and no re
turn of the disease has occurred. ROBERT WARD.
Maxey’s Ga., July 1.
We, the undersigned, know Mr. Robt. Ward, and take pleasure in stat
ing that the facts as above stated by y him are true, and thut Ills was one
of the worst cases of Blood Poison we ever knew in our county, and
that he has been cured by the use of B. B. B.—Botanic Blood Balm.

WA8HING WITHOUT WATER
In Like Trying to Get Rid of Dandruff
Without Herpldde.
Did you ever see any one trying to
wash themselves without soap or
water?
If you did what would you say of
him?
It is every bit as foolish to try to get
rid of Dandruff and to prevent Bald
ness by feeding the germs which cause
it, with Canthrarides, Vaseline. Glycer
ine and similar substances which form
the principal ingredients of most so-
called Hair Vigors.
Newbro’s Herpldde Is successful bo-
cause it attacks and kills the parasitic
germ which feeds on the hair roots.

scalp germicide manufactured.

The Albany fire department has an
swered the usual number of calls i*e-
cently, but all the fires have been
small ones. It takes a speedy fire, n
strong, brisk wind, a wooden struc
ture built like a fire trap, and several
minutes time before the alarm comes
In, to constitute the essentials of a
fire that gets away from the local de
partment, and sometimes they don’t
get far then.
