All old-time Cough Syrups bind the
bowels. This is wrong. A new idea
was advanced two years ago In Ken
nedy’s Laxative Honfey and Tar. ’ This
remedy acts on the mucous mem
branes of the throat and lungs and
loosens the bowels at the same time.
It expels all cold from the system. It
clears the throat, strengthens the mu-
cons membranes, relieves coughs,

"The Eternal City" a Great Play.
No one who sees “The Eternal City"
will doubt Its greatness for a moment.
A play written by that fascinating
author, Hall Caine, a play to which
he has given up practically two years
of his life, a production superlative
in its magnitude, and upon which
tnoney, time and labor have been ex
pended without stint, a east of char
acters which, besides the ever-popu-
lar and talented Jane Kennarlc, em
braces not only two or three, hut a
half dozen of America’s leading act
ors, men and women all of whom have
enjoyed great honors In the profes
sion—such are the component parts
of this great play. It Is a production
and a play that stands ns far above
the ordinary production, as the human
mind can conceive. Some of the cit
ies have concluded it. Is melodrama.
Well, when one considers the question
able color and lack of interest of
some of the so-called “problem plays”
he Is inclined to exclaim, “If this is
melodrama', let us have more of It.”
Certainly. “The Eternal City” is a
great and fascinating play and ono
which throbs with human Interest from
the rise of the first to tho fall of the
final curtain.
“Th4 Eternal City” will appear at
the Rawlins theatre next Tuesday
evening. Prices, 50 and 75 cents, $1
and $1.60.

OPTICAL TALK
The leading citizens of Alb a n
and vicinity are realizing the fact
that optics is not to be dealt with
by all line of tradesmen. Optics
is not scientifically acquired by
corresp mdence or a diploma grant
ed for a few dollars, or by the pur-
i chase of a few optical goods.
True optics is only acquired
after years of diligent study of
anatomy.
You have your eyes but once in
a life time and the best advice is
cheapest in the long run.
When you consult an oculist you
consult a true optician, and the
