BIG MURDER CASE.
Walter J. 'Hightower for the Murder
of I. B. Wllmouth.

Atlanta, Ga., April 6.—There Is ev
ery probability that.the case of Walter
J. Hightower, held In the Tower on a
warrant charging him with the mur
der of L. B Wllmouth, will be brought
before the Fulton grand Jury when
that body meets April 12, and that an
Indictment will be asked.' The grand
Jury meets Just four days before the
convening of the criminal branch of
the Fulton superior court. Solloltor-
General Hill Is now getting ready to
aid the grand Jury In lta work, and
Bays he has b£en notified about the
Hightower case. The warrant against
the young man was Bworn out In Jus
tice of the Peace Puchett’s court by
County Policeman Maddox, and Chief
Turner, of the county police force, has
been ordered-to hold all evidence for
the grand Jury. The funeral of Wll
mouth took place yesterday afternoon
from the undertaking establishment of
Harry Poole & Co., the burial being at
Caeey’s cemetery.
