from Georgia, n bile laboring under protracted billions disease,
the consequence of a severe attack of fever in ihe course ol
the previous autumn. Having exbansted the usual remedies
without iclief. he determined to iry the eft’ect of combining a
number of well known medicines, with the separate action of
each he had been familiarly acquainted ia kts professional

The inventor asks his his ow n fellow citizens to give the
pills a fair trial—pledging himself if they will do so. that they
will not fail te obtain the confidence, ano prtfience of iun<:\y
Htue out of a hundred, *»t nine hundred and iiinely-niue nut
ol a thousand. As an alterative, or mild aperient, for correct
ing habitual or casual torpidity ol the bowels, one pill taken
at bed tin, • is the proper dose, without the necessity ofchan
ging ordinary habits of living If our- should fail to produce
(tie desired efl’ect it is better to repeat it lor two or tlnee suc
cessive nights, than t.i aid its operation by tak.ng any thing
else.
For billious fever, or other acute disease requiting active
purgation, one pill repeal! <1 every hour or two, until the de
sired effect is produced, is the In st mode of administering them.
The subjoined certificates sufficiently attest the efficacy of
these pills.
