Congratulations to Brent and
Hope Harrelson on the birth of a
beautiful baby girl, Randy Gwen.
She was born October 21 and
weighed seven pounds and nine
ounces and was 20 inches long.
She has a big sister, Grace.
Prayers and sympathy go to the
family of Mr. Buddy Gray who
passed away recently. He was the
father of Doris Hall.

in the commuity for the purchasing of eye glasses
for the needed. The Lee County Lions Club is always

Flint River Starlab Set Up
at Lee County Primary
On October 29th and 30th,
Steve Rainey of the Flint River
Valley GYSTC set up the
Starlab in the Lee County Pri
mary School gymnasium. Each
second grade class went in to the
Starlab for Mr. Rainey's presen
tations on different aspects of the
solar system. According to the
Quality Core Curriculum, sec
ond graders are to be able to

2001, Lee County Building In
spection Department issued 18
building permits for single fam
ily dwellings. 13 permits were
issued in the unincorporated area
of Lee County while five permits
for single family houses were is
sued in the City of Leesburg.
The estimated cost of the 13
houses in the unincorporated area
of Lee County was $857,920.00.
The cost of the 13 permits was
$4,902.00.
Six mobile home permits were
issued in the unincorporated area
of Lee County. The cost of the six
permits was $1,154.00.
