Thanksgiving Day
By Grace Rhodes
What will you do when you arise
On the 22nd of November?
Will you be a home or far away
And will you also remember?
What this day means to all of us
As down through the years gone by.
It really is something to be thankful for
And I'm sure you all know why.
We're so well blessed in so many ways
That we have to be thoughtful its true,
The Pilgrims were thankful and so must we
Yes, each and every one of you.
Enjoy the day, eat all the good food
May your family and loved ones be blessed.
Make it safe and secure in all that you do
And love will take care of the rest!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Driving Cleaner Cars
(NAPSA)-Relationships between cars and the environment may
have just taken a turn for the better.
According to the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, car mak
ers have developed advanced engine technologies-such as lean bum,
direct injection, hybrids and fuel cells-that are helping to make cars,
minivans, sport utility vehicles and pick-ups even cleaner and more
fuel efficient.
The Alliance offers a 20 page report called Advanced Technology
Vehicles Take To The Road, detailing high-tech developmental and
production vehicles from its member companies.
The report is intended to give consumers a better idea of what
kinds of hybrid electric, natural gas and fuel cell vehicles are cur
rently available and what types of vehicles will be available in the
near future.
The Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers is a coalition of 13
companies whose vehicles represent 90 percent of U.S. automobile
sales. For more information, visit www.autoalliance.org.

some of the state’s waiting chil

children," said State Recruit

a sense of the child, beyond any
challenges or limitations the
child may have. “Through this
publication, just as with our
adoption parties and
videoconferences, we try to
give families a feel for all the
gifts our children bring," con

that is a broad term. “For the
most part, our children are spe

families to call their own,"
added Henson. The children are
in the permanent custody of the
