Responders in the community
Special to the Ledger
Time Out Teddy and
the Exchange Club of
Albany have had busy
week meeting with First
Responders. We started
last Saturday and helped
at a Back the Blue 5K
Run to raise money for
First Responders. As
always, Time Out Teddy
was the biggest hit!!
During the following
week Time Out Teddy
and members of the
Exchange Club of Al
bany met with four Faw
Enforcement agencies
in Fee and Dougherty
County. We distributed
50 Time Out Teddy
Bears. We have two
more Faw Enforcement
agencies we will be
meeting with shortly.
With all the excite
ment about Time Out
Teddy the enthusiasm
has been building and
due to some very gener
ous notations we are in
the process of ordering
150 more Time Out Ted
dy Bears to add to what
we have already given
Faw Enforcement. We
also plan to add addi
tional First Responder
such as EMS.
We would like to
continue this program
throughout the year and
plan to distribute 500
