Georgia Pump Prices
Rise Across The State
Special to the Ledger
Georgia gas prices

gasoline. Monday’s state
average is 4 cents more
than a week ago, 7 cents
more than last month
and 96 cents more than
this time last year.
It now costs motorists

tank of gasoline; that is

prices hit their peak of
$2.46 per gallon.
“Peak summer driving
season is in full-swing
as Americans hit the
road and gas prices are
not backing down,”
said Montrae Waiters,
spokeswoman, AAA-
The Auto Club Group.
“Georgians are paying,
on average, nearly a
dollar more a gallon than
last summer to fill up at
the pump.”
Since Monday, the
national average for a
gallon of regular gas
oline has increased by
2 cents to $3.16. In its
latest weekly report,
the Energy Information
Administration (EIA)
reported that gas de
mand decreased from
an all-time high of 10.04
million barrels a day
to 9.28 million barrels
a day last week. The
decrease, alongside a 1
million barrels increase
in total domestic gaso
line stocks to 236.5 mil
lion, has helped to slow
pump price increases.
However, with oil prices
above $70 per barrel,
pump prices will likely
remain high (above $3
per gallon) throughout
the busy summer driving
season.

What a joke! You live in a ’food desert'

Bring on the federal money and let's solve
the problem it created.
Seems schools just let out for the sum

Another bad wreck on Hwy 82. Didn't
see the details why other than a big

many and they are fast.
Defund Welfare! It's hard to riot when
you have to go to work! No other country

Garden put in so long ago I can't re

Covid will never go away as long as it
can still be weaponized. Valuable people

So hot the other day I thought I could

With the Sistrunk issue resolved by

I think the WH doesn't want Cubans to
come into our country because they're
more likely to vote conservative. They
know how bad socialism/communism really
is.
The Olympic committee wants to change
