Under the new train schedule which the
Northern Pacific nallroad inaugurates Juno

lino, eight east bound and eight west bound,
exclusive of 108 local, main and hracli line pa»-
soticcr trains running daily west of St. Paul,
Ashland and Duluth in Wisconsin, Minnesota,
North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Oregon and
Washington on its 3800 miles of track.

arrangement the first through train, the pacific
Kxnm*, leaves «. Paul at 8:16 a. m daily, witii
a through Pullman Palace sleeping « ar, leaving
Chicago dally at 5:30 p. in. via the Chicago,
.Milwaukee & st. raul Hallway, running via nel
ena and Tacoma direct to Portland, and making
close connection at st. Paul w ith all trains leav
ing st. Louis in the forenoon and Chicago in tho
afternoon of the previous day, arriving at Taco
ma 10:50 a. m. of the third day and Portland the
same afternoon.
Th* second through train, No. ], the Pacific
Mail, leaving St. Paul at 4:15 p. ni., daily, mak
ing close connections with the l ast Mail,” and
all night trains out of Chicago, will carry a
through Pullman Palace Sleeping Car and one
or more Pullman Tourist Sleeping Cars leaving
Chicago at 10:45 p. m. daily via the Wisconsin
Central line, running through io Portland via
Helena and Tacoma. Both trains out or St.
Paul will carry Pullman Tourist bleeping Cars
and Dining Cars, hut free colonist Bleepers
will hi run only on train No. 1, leaving St. Paul
