The muddy condition of the streets,

Mcasrs. Aithur fatten and J. I,,

Now that the primp / has spoken,
let all differences cease. We are all

Tite boys ousted Jim C.roov' • out

The farmers arc complaining of too
much rain. It is injuring cotton : n
sonic portions of the county.
U nile the shipment of melons is
about over, the home market is well
supplied. And they a-e cheap.

Several gentlemen Tom Colquitt
coumy wo-e in tow j yesterday lacy
a” agree that their county will go
solid'y for Te ,cr to-day.
Now that the ptimary is over,
M nomas conn.y democrats will again
touch elbows. It is a way we have of
doing things, in this county.
And it ra'ncd, and it rained, yester
day. This, however, did not deter
the " lends of the various candidates
oni turning out, and voting.
The democratic executive com
mittee of the county, Capt. R. P. Doss,
ciiab.nan, will meet at the comihouse
to day fur the pm pose of consolidat
ing (he vote of the county.
The Times-Entkrtrisk, as italwajs
has, wi'lgive the nominees of yester-
day’s ptintaiy, an unwavering, un
flinching suppott. Our lines must
never be broken. It would be sui
cide.
Delegates wi ! ' be appointed to-day,
to both the congressional and senator
ial conventions, in accordance with the
verdict of the pttma'y yesterday.
The candidates, or their blends, by.
resolutions of the mass meeting, order-
ing the primary, «,M suggest the names
of the de'egates.
The Right to Vote.
A readable communication appears
elsewhere on the subject of resi Iction
of suffrage. The w titer would fix a
real estate valuation of $500, as a pre
requisite to voting. While some few
oftheeastein states hive such a qttalifi
catior the, idea has never been popular
at the south. True, the state of Miss
issippi, in which state the blacks large
ly predominate, are discussing this, or
some other mode, yet the soulheia
states will hardly eve- endorse the
property qualification plan. There is
no good reason why a man who is not
worth $500 should be deptived of the
right to vote. Such a law will never
be passed in Georgia.
Cotton Bagging Again.
“Five Georgia Mills are engaged in
making cotton bagging to cover Geor
gin’s cotton crop this Full and the
prospect is brighter lot winning the
fight against the jute trust than ever
before. Inconsequence jute bagging
will sell nt 0 to 8 cents per ynrd this
Fall—if it sell nt all.
“This light illustrates how easily
the farmers can whip a fight of this
character, by sticking together as one
man. There is no politics in this and
they have the undivided moral sup
port of the whole country, and with
such backing they arc bound to win.”
We commend the above, from the
Bainbridgc Democrat, to the farmers
of Thomas county. Let them fight
the jute trust to the hitter end.
He Broke His' Pencil.
“The editor was busy at his desk,
and his peucil flew with lightning like
rapidity over the paper as be was
grinding out a heavy editorial. The
minister dropped iu and seating him

Up to twelve o'clock, yesterday,. vo

Merchants arc watching the cotton

which settled on her lungs; she was treated
for a month hv her family physician, hut

could cure her. Her druggist suggested Dr
King’s New Discovery for Consumption; she

A Disfigured Countenance.
Many people who would scarcely notice un
armless or legless man will instantly detect
and remark on any blemish of the human
fice, and dive into all sorts of speculations
as to its cause and attendant circumstance .
If you doubt this assertion become possessed
of a discoioied optic and note how much at
tention it will invite. A black eye is gen
erally avoidable, hut blotches, pimples and
other scrofulous and eruptive marks steal
upon us without warning, and are frequent
ly the first intimation oftlie facts that our
blood is going wrong. A prompt and sys
tematic use ol P. P. P. (Prickly Ash Poke
Root and Potassium), will purify the blood,
cleanse the skin and give hack to the face
nature’s familiar, ruddy signs of health.

A Safo Remedy.
When a person is sick they wish more
than aught else a restoration of health,
They are willing to take even nauseous med
icine in order to get well. With many:
howevtr. u first consideration is whether
the medicine is perfectly safe. Will it or
will it not leave any evil after-effects?
Now, there is one icmedy known to he cer
tainly safe. It is a botanical dicovcry, and
it is called Botanic Blood Balm, or B. B. B.
It will not harm the moat delicate constitu
tion, nor will n discontinuance-cause a crav
ing for its further use. It is a sure antidote
for poison in the blood. The blood becomes
poisoned in various ways. Constipation,
urinary difficulties and other causes of effete
matter remaining ia the system will cause
blood impurity, or blood poison, as many
call it. Syinptons of blood poison should
not he neglected, B. B. B. should be taken
at once. It will cure promptly, ami is not
bad U* take, nor will it leave any evil after
effects,
J. 1). Watkins, Blakely, Ga., writes
‘‘Old sores covered my entire person and
itched intense’y night and day. For sever
al months I could not work at all. I com
menced the use of Botanic Blood Balm and
began to grow better the first week, ami am
now Found and well, free from sores and
itching and nt work again.’'
Cholera infantum loses its terrors since the
introduction of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera
and Diarrlma Remedy. When that remedy
is used and the treatment as directed with
each bottle is followed, a cure is certain.
Mr. A. W. Walter, a prominent merchant at
Waltersburg, Ill, says: “It cured my baby
hoy of cholera infantum after several other
remedies lmd failei. The child was so low
that he seemed almost beyond the aid of hu
man hands or reach of any medicine” 25
