The Tariff Bill.
Washington, Aug 26.—The Sen
ate this morning unanimously agreed
to the proposition submitted yesterday
by Mr. Aldrich, limiting and fixing the
time for consideration of the Tariff bill,
and voting on it. Under the terms of
this proposition the general debate is
to close Sept. 3, and voting on the bill
is to begin on Sept. 8.
