Georgia’s Growth.
Georgia has gained in population
360,000 smre 1880, now c r.iaining
1,900.000 si nils, a ga n of nearly 25
per cent Georgia is growing rich
and populous What is more satisfac
tory, Georgia is growing populous and
rich. Georgia has maintained the
purity 01 blood and integrity of race
that will make her great as well as
wealthy. It is not an unqualified ben
efit to increase in popula ion unless the
addition is of a desirable quality.
The increase to Georgia's census has
oeen not of paupers and adventurers,
but was largely of people of means and
of good sturdy character. We have
just begun to grew. The tide has set
our way. An overruling providence if
certainly making all things work to
gethcr for our good.
