Mrs. J. E Robinson,
Treasurer.
Please give the above monthly report
jour careful attention. See how the
Lord is caring for these once homeless
frieudless’girls. See how He is estab
lishing the “work of onr liuuds” as long
as we have the faith to believe that He
is ablw and williug to supply all our
needs. Faith is the key that unlocks
His storehouse.
The contributions for the past month
have been most encouraging, as several
have eonie from trieuds that we had
not known of before; thus showing
that when people have information on
auy subject impressions are more easily
made for or against it.
We have earnestly sought to give out
this information through the press es
pecially the Times-Eutei prise, circulars
and lastly by the neat attractive
'folders” that are being sent out,
reaching hundreds of people.
Yet here iu onr own city, we meet
people who are still ignorant of this
home anrl ils purjioses, ask still “if it
is not a rescue home” &c. &c. Thus
showing tliat some people will not ac
cept a good thing e/eu when it is thrust
upon them
We now have eleveu girls Of pure
spotless character—Girls that are being
taught first of all “Seek ye Me and ye
shall live,” and Ho is being found by
them. The foundations for strong cliris-
tian character are being well laid. It
is beautiful to see their simple child like
faith. They are not idling, neither arc
they in a work shop bat in a well reg
ulated Christian home, where each Inn
duties to perform and does them cheer
fully.
What more shall we say to our
friends? You know our sincere grati
tude for yonr encouraging words and
your material help, and twice every
day these eleven girls raise their voice
to God, and ask Him, “to bless
friends that are helping us to livo this
life, instead of the other.”
Lord, lead the way the Savior went,
By lane and ooUjobacnre,
And Jot love’s treasures still be npeu(,
