Georgia, South Carolina, Mississ
ippi, Alabama and Louisiana and

The report recommended early
destruction of green cotton stalks
Applying poison before squares
form either by the use of calcium
arsenate duet or calcium arsenate
Incorporated in a molasses mix
ture, was advised. When cotton
begins to bloom and thereafter un
til the crop la made, the committee
reporta In favor of the use of cal
cium arsenate dust applied accord
ing to government recommenda
tions.
The committe reported that It
found no liquid poison superior to
home mixtures and found ne
mixtures contained anything that
had apecial attractiveness for
the weevil.
