NEW ORLEANS, La. — Liver-
pool was due 5 to 7 down by New
Orleans, 5 to 11 down by New
York.
Southern spots Thursday 15 to
50 down. Texas markets 25 to 40
Dallas 30 off; middling!
there 33.60; sales Dallas 13.415; j
all told 46,622 vs 43,291 Wednes
day.
Saturday will be first December
notice day in New Orleans. Mon
day in New York. Thursday’s re
visions here, strict low middling
and below 100 down; middling and
above 50 lower, will tend to
strengthen the December position
locally.
Spot sales in the interior Thurs
day were comparatively lower,
tending to refute the claim there
less demand for the staple.
Week-end statistics Friday may
be somewhat bearish as a whole.
Weeks insight probably little
larger than last year’s 472.000;
spinner takings probably some-
what lower than last years, 437,-
ooo.
.May have more liquidation in
December Friday in advance of
first notice day here Saturday and
Monday in New York.
Sentiment remains divided ow
ing to uncertainty of market for
present, both sdies cautious.
