Mrs. L. Y. Bradbury has returned

Miss Montie Martin returned to her
bone in Banks last Tuesday. Miss
Niblack accompanied her and will spend

Your corn spondent, J. T. Fulcher
and H. L. McElhaiinou had the pleas
ure of attending a literary and Sunday
school picnic at Cold Springs last Sat
urday. The program was good consist
ing of songs and recitations by the
children, The lecture by Prof. Noal
was instructive and full of laughter.
The diuner was nicely prepared by the
good ladies. Mr. R. F. Elrod the liter
ary teacher of the place deserves much
praise and credit for having such a gcod
program.
The entertainment last week at the
residence of Mr. J. R- Whitehead, giv
en in honor of Miss Minnie Head and
Mr. A. C. Wilson, of Gray Hill, was
one of the most enjoyable affairs of the
season. All the beauty and gallantry
of this section attended and sweet
music made all of ns quite sentimental.
Mr. Thomas Cheely, of Bogart, spent
last Sunday in our midst.
Miss Kitie Moseman spent last Satur
day and Sunday with her parents near
Athens. She was accompanied by Mr.
Carl Holliday.

out takiug a ride on the crank car hap
pened to the misfortune of getting their
faces skinned by stopiing the car too
s-udden tly.
Miss Lula Carswell has gone home af
ter a long visit in our town,
Dr Cooper is a frequent visitor to
Rochell. There n ust be something

Mr. It. Chandler is the proud father
of a little girl.
We enjoy reading the dear old Ecox
