elected by the trustees of Chapel school
as teacher for another year. She has
already had oharge of this school for
two years and her eleotion for a third is
a high compliment and indicates that
the school under her management has
been satisfactory to the patrons.

Annie Lon Faust, a charming young

week by the trustees of White Plains
school as teacher for another year. Prof.
Bodiford has been at Galilee for two
years and has made quite s reputation
as a successful teacher. The school at
White Plains will prosper under his

Mr. James Green Sr Son of Ogle
thorpe county visited relatives here last
week. Mr. Greeu is one of the good
farmers of Oglethorpe county and is
thinking of coming here another year

Rev. S. W. Arnold and wife attended
the burial last Friday of Mr. John Green
a nephew of theirs. Mr. Green lived a
few miles below Mouroa and was a pop
ular aud prominent farmer of that sec
tion. He leaves a wife and two child
ren. The funeral service was conduct
ed by Rev. Mr. Hurst aud was largely
attended by his neighbors and many
friends.
