Agreeably to an order of the Court of
Ordinary of Jackson county, will be
sold at public out cry at the court house
door, tn Jefferson, Jackson county
Georg ia, on the first Tuesday in Octo
ber 1899, within the legal bonrs of sale,
the following property, to wit.
All the realty belonging to the estate
of John White, late of gaid county, de
ceased, consisting of three lots. Lot
No. 1 beginning at a Red oak, where
it corners with lot No. 2, and being the
extreme north corner of lot No. 1, run
uing thence S 7% E 19 to head of braueh;
thence along the meanders of the braueh
to a Hickory on the Walnut river;
thence up said river on across the Or J.
&S. R. R-. and then along the river
and the old river run to a stake on

taxable property of said county is $2,-
924,187, and to defray the expenses of
the year ending December 31st 1900, it
will be necessary to raise the sum of
$16,492 41.
It ;s therefore ordered by the court
sitting for county purposes that a tax of
fifty-six cants and four mills be levied
upon each one hundred dollars of the
taxable property of said county, as
shown on said tax Digest, and that said
tax be collected by the tax collector, and
turned over to the couuty Treasurer of
said couuty for the purposes following,
