Correspondence.
Curnby, Tex., Aug. 16, 1900.
Editor Economist,
My Dear Sir: I a'u just from the
school room and have a few minutes to
rest and I thought I would write a short
letter. lam in the midst of a flourish
ing 20 days Normal Institute, have 80
odd pupils and some very fine talent.
The instrumental department numbers
about 50. My piano teacher is an ex
pert, she teaches piano, violin and man
dolin. The school is being held in the
college building and is a nice plaoe for
such work. The school will be half out
tomorrow 16 th.
Igo from here to Monroe, Indian
Territory to hold a 15 days institute.
The prospects are I will teaoh another
very large normal at Miller Grove Tex.,
ia Deoember The contract for the
sohool is being signed by the best men
of that section. It looks now as if I
would likely spend the most of the fall
and winter in this oountry. The crops
here are as fine as oan be. Every thing
that the farmers try to produce is a suc
cess this year. ’Tis not so all oyer the
state, some places crops are reported as
being sorry.
Oats. Oats, Oats. I never saw so
many oata They are being sold at
about 17 to 20c per buaheL The depot
platforms are lined and piled with sack
ed oats. Cotton is being picked and
the fleecy staple will soon be on the
market.
But I rest here. Politics are warm
ing up, though I have had but little
time to Investigate the condition of
things. J K Moork.
QUESTION ANSWERED.
Yes, August Flower still has the
largest sale of any medicine in the civ
ilised world. Your mothers' and grand
mothers’ never thought of using any
thing else for Indigestion or Biliousness.
Doctors were soaroe, and they seldom
heard of Appendicitis, Nervous Prostra
tion or Heart failure, etc. They used
August Flower to clean out the system
and stop fermentation of undigested
food, regulate the action of the liver,
stimulate the nervous and organic ac
tion of the system, and that is all they
took when feeling dull and bad with
headaches and other aches. Yon only
need a few doses of Green's August
Flower, in liguid form, to make yon
satisfied there is nothing serious the
matter with yon. Sample bottles at
