Rome, Ga. —Flatwood’s district,'
near Rome, is in a state of terror of
hydrophobia, and scores of dogs
were slaughtered there Sunday, fol
lowing the death of Will Woodall,
a 12-year-old boy, in horrible con
vulsions, Sunday afternoon.
The child was bitten by a pet dog
two weeks ago and hydrophobia de
veloped. The dog had bitten many
others, and for this reason men
with guns are searching the neigh
borhood end killing every eta nine
they find.
