Of all that a lady uses, wears, or eats,
nothing is more vital to her daily com
fort than properly-fitted shoes. It
decides the question of how she shall
finish each day —whether tired and
unhappy or rested and comfortable.
Not one woman in eight is properly
fitted to proper shoes. If you will
give us a little extra time some day,
we will fit your feet scientifically and
\
accurately to a pair of “Queen Qual
ity” Shoes. Your discomfort will cease
from that hour.

WHAT TO BRING HOME.
All day Mrrion had been making
a round of calls, and her tender
heart was full of all she had seen
and heard.
It was about the tea tabic that she
told her experiences, and eyes tilled
at the recital. In one family a for
tune line suddenly been swept away,
and where luxuries had been known
privations and hardships were }>e
! ing endured; the tidings of an ac
cident had crushed another house
hold, and still a third was sorrow-
mg liecause t an incurable disease
which was slowly but surely eating
out the life of one <*f it members.
As she recounted it in sympa
thetic tones tlie little mother was
moved to tears and a sadness
fell over the entire eirele.
Six-year-old Dan listened with
keen interest and looked from one
to another, tlen hack again at the
sister.
“Didn't you find any happy
folks?” he said.
As swift sis the flight of an -arrow
the smile carne back and she was
her sunshiny self.
Dan is right; we have no call to
dwell upon flic gloomy side of any
thing. We can cheer those who
need cheer, but we are not obliged
to gather up the shadows and bring
them home with us.
The world is full of brightness
and good cheer, and God's Word
contains promises enough to cover
| every need. We bring shuu
j shine into the home as well as to
eari.v it, if we are his messf-ng. r-.

SrOLD THE LAKE.
Clem Powers, one of Inion City s

Atlanta Tuesday and rejxrts that
the entire population of Cnion City, •
consisting of John Morgan, Billy
Correll, Tom Roberts, himself and
twenty-nine other souls, not to
mention various and numerous
other animals anil insects, including
the gasoline engine, are greatly in
censed over the dastardly act. of
some crook, who visited Cnion City
with a sponge, soaked up that city’s
beautiful lake and made bis get
away. Clem says that his theory is
that the theft of the lake was sim
