SATISFACTION
There are a great many kinds of satisfaction or a great
variety of things that produce it. We mention a few.
First —A great satisfaction and joy to us is the confidence,
patronage and reputation bestowed upon us by Eighteen
Hundred and Ninety Seven regular accounts and more
being added daily. It is also a satisfaction to be able to
serve the best interests of the trading public by having a
good, modern, convenient carrying stocks the
people want when they want it, with able experienced
salespeople in every department. PRICES RIGHT, and
this should be a satisfaction to you also.

Situation
Last fall just before goods began
to advance and the dye situation got
so acute, we began to buy all kinds
of Colored Goods in sufficiently large
quantities to us all through 1916.
Now if you doubt this you may see
the contracts. On the other hand
we can show you the goods them
selves, as about half of them are ship
ped and in our house.
-WE SAW THE HANDWRITING
ON THE WALL.”
We have goods dyed with genu
ine German pure Indigo dye. We
could sell out for a good profit the
contracts we now hold but we want
the goods for our customers retail.
We would caution you against cheap
American dyes. THE BEST DYES
HERE ARE NO HIGHER.

ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION
Why should a man scatter or divide his trade promisciously and have
accounts all around town and maybe not know exactly to whom and how
much he owes? Would there be any advantage or profit worth while to eith
er the buyer or seller? Neither one could depend upon the other for any
thing CERTAIN.
Answer This Question
By concentrating and simplifying your business, selecting a store like the OLD RELIABLE

cient service for the least possible cost to you. This is due to the fact that we love and study
our business and want to see it grow instead of go backward, this is made possible by giving

must be cast aside, because they cannot stand the shock and shell of modern progress. Condi
tions and problems today can’t be met with the plans and policies of yesterday.
