Naamon York enjoyed a
lovely Christmas dinner at
Morrison’s in Macon Mall.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert B.
Watkins and children,
Donna, Barbara, Carolyn,
Andrea, Robert Jr., Hugh
Wright, of Marietta, spent
Friday in Jackson with
Misses Georgie and Delia
Watkins. They also visited
Mr. Watkins’ father, Mr. R.
Wright Watkins, in Sylvan
Grove Hospital and other
relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard W.
Watkins, Jr. entertained
members of the family at a
Christmas dinner on Tuesday
evening, December 23rd.
Present, in addition to the
hosts, were Miss Rachael
Watkins, Miss Virginia Wat
kins, Miss Georgia Watkins,
Miss Delia Watkins, and
James Browning.
Mrs. Doyle Jones, Jr. went
over to Athens on Christmas
Eve to spend a portion of the
holidays with her mother,
Mrs. L. F. Griffeth, and other
members of the family. She
returned home Friday after
noon.
Dr. Jo Ann Manley and
children, Miss Molly Manley,
Miss Myra Manley, George,
Bruce and Thomas motored
to Athens on Christmas Day
for a visit with Mr. and Mrs.
George Thomas Seagraves,
Sr., parents of Mrs. Manley.
Mr. and Mrs. Billie W.
Moore had as guests for one
week recently (December
10-17) Mr. and Mrs. Per E.
Grahnquist of Omaha, Ne
braska, brother and sister-in
law of Mrs. Moore. The
brother and sister had not
seen one another in over
sixteen years.
Mrs. Mary Sue Karr has
been visiting her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Castellaw, the past two
weeks. She returned to
Atlanta on Monday to resume
her duties at Georgia Baptist
Hospital on January Ist.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Castellaw had as their dinner
guests Christmas day Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Castellaw
and Henry Jack of Loganville
and Mrs. Mary Sue Karr of
Atlanta.
Mr. James Wise left this
week via plane from Macon
to attend the Cotton Bowl
game between Georgia and
Arkansas in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Briscoe
and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sasser
left Tuesday via auto for
Dallas, Texas where they
will attend the Cotton Bowl
game between Georgia and
Arkansas.

afternoon were Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Sudderth and their
daughter, Jeannette, of At
lanta. Jeannette is now
attending Midwestern Uni
versity in Texas and serving
as an assistant professor
while working on a master’s
degree in piano and cello
which she will receive in
May.
Mr. and Mrs. Girden Cook
entertained at Christmas
dinner on Thursday and had
as guests Mr. and Mrs.
Emerson Burford, Walton,
Aubrey, Jackie, Lindy, Mr.
and Mrs. Lanier Burford,
Wade, and Mat, all of
Jenkinsburg; Mr. and Mrs.
Ed Williams, Glenn, and
Andy, Mr. and Mrs. David
Burford and Carin, all of
FLovilla; Mrs. Clarice Mc-
Kinnon, Tony, Scott and
Barry of Martinez.
Mrs. Quinn Gresham of
Milner, Mrs. Laura Wright
and Mrs. Obie Watkins were
Sunday dinner guests of Mrs.
Maude Watkins.
Mr. and Mrs. Naamon
York were spend the day
guests Saturday of his
brother, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
York of Locust Grove.
