Georgia, being same land as
that described in security
instrument executed by
undersigned (J. S. Smith) to
Federal Land Bank of
Columbia as recorded in
Book 29, Pages 503 and 504,
Office of Clerk of Superior
Court, Butts County, Geor
gia, With The Exception of
the three following tracts:
Conveyed Ten (10) acres to
George M. Anderson by
undersigned as recorded in
Book 43, Page 447; One
Hundred Eighty-two and
Thirty-five Hundredths
(182.35) acres conveyed to C.
C. Anderson and Donald W.
Ivey by undersigned as
recorded in Book 43, Page
442; and also Twenty-nine
and Thirty-five Hundredths
(29.35) acres conveyed to C.

certain one acre which is

NING at an iron pin located
on the Northeast right of way
line of State Route 87, which
point is its intersection with
the South land lot line of Land
Lot 45, and from said point of
beginning running thence
South 89 degrees 30’ East 268
feet to an iron pin; run thence
North 34 degrees 57’ West 210
feet to an iron pin; thence
North 89 degrees 30’ West 268
feet to an iron pin located on
the Northeast right of way
line of State Route 87; thence
along said right of way line
South 34 degrees 57’ East 210
feet to the point of beginning.
Said tract will be conveyed
subject to an outstanding
superior Security Deed from
J. S. Smith, to the Federal
Land Bank Of Columbia,
dated June 17, 1966, and of
record in Deed Book 29,
Pages 503-504, in Clerk’s
Office, Superior Court, Butts
County, Georgia, which said
Security Deed secures an
indebtedness owing to the
Federal Land Bank Of
Columbia.
The indebtedness secured
by said Deed to Secure Debt
to the said Flint River
Production Credit Associa
tion having become in
default, said real estate will
be sold as the property of J.
S. Smith and the proceeds
from such sale will be
applied to the payment of
principal and interest of said
indebtedness and the cost of
this proceeding, including
attorney’s fees, and the
balance, if any, to be paid
over to the party or parties
entitled thereto.

(PACCA), formerly known
as Upper Ocmulgee Econo
mic Opportunity Commis
sion, operates a comprehen
sive nutrition program for
Senior Citizens in Butts,
Newton, Spalding and Upson
counties. The program,
which is funded by the
Department of Human Re
sources, provides multi-ser
vices to Senior Citizens 60
years of age and older.
Included are such services
as: (a) providing transporta
tion to nutrition sites,
shipping assistance, medical
visits and field trips, (b)
information and referrals,
(c) health and welfare
counseling, (and) nutrition
education, (e) hot nutritional
meals and planned recre
ation that is provided for the
Senior Citizens include Trips
to Callaway Gardens, Lion
Country Safari, Macon Mall,
etc.

OF EXAMINATION
NOTICE TO ALL PLUMBERS
AND ELECTRICIANS
After July 1, 1976 no probationary license will be
issued under the grandfather clause. All persons who
receive license will have to pass an examination to be
qualified for said license. Examinations to be given
once each three months beginning first Tuesday in Octo
ber and thereafter every three months. Fee for test will
be SIO.OO. Any person failing test must wait six months
for another test at no further cost.
All contractors in business one year prior to July 1,
1976 must furnish satisfactory proof of business but
will be accepted on the grandfather clause without test
if applying before July 1, 1976.
