Cooperative Extension serv
ice and Gordon Junior
College are working in a joint
effort to present “A Day at
Gordon Junior College.” It is
to be a day devoted to
citizens who are 60 years of
age or older who want to
spend a very interesting and
unusual day at the college.
Men and women of Butts,
Upson, Lamar and Pike
Counties ' are invited to
participate in the program
planned for Friday, May 6.
Participants will attend
two classes in the morning
and will be served lunch in
the student cafeteria just like
college students. Some of the
classes to be offered are

Drafting Game-Fish Regulations
The Game and Fish
Division of Georgia’s Depart
ment of Natural Resources is
holding a series of public
hearings throughout the state
in April so that the public can
contribute to the estblish
ment of open season dates
and bag limits for the. 1977-78
huntng season.
The District IV meeting
will be held Monday, April
18th. at 7:30 p.m. in the
Georgia Forest Research
Council Building on Riggins
Mill Road in Macon.
Hearings will be devoted to
a discussion of specific
provisions necessary to
augment the Game and Fish
Code passed by the 1977
General Assembly. Of spe
cific interest is the establish
ment of open season dates on
a statewide, regional, or
local level and setting of
