THURSDAY, MAY 5, 1977

Rev. and Mrs. Lannie
Smith, of McDonough Road,
Jackson, have had Prissy for
three and one-half years, as
many years as Prissy is old.
They bought Prissy while
Mr. Smith was in seminary in
New Orleans, and they both
agree that she is a really
good and lovable dog and
that she has given them
many hours of delightful
company.
One of the things Mr. and
Mrs. Smith have found
interesting about Prissy is
that when they’re eating,
she’ll sit up and beg them for
food and if she isn’t given any
she goes to another room,
gets her dogfood and brings it
back where they are eating.
Another eating habit of
Prissy’s is her liking for raw
potatoes and when she hears
Mrs. Smith peeling them,
she’s there almost with the
first scrape of the knife
across the potato.
There are a few things the
good-natured Prissy doesn’t
like such as her bath which
Mr. Smith says she hates but
doesn’t really fight. He added
that she is obviously more
fond of Mrs. Smith because
he is the one who has to clean
and groom her and take her
to the veterinarian so
“naturally she thinks I’m
the bad guy.”
When it comes to strang
ers. Prissy’s likes fall into a
more neutral category. Not
being very finicky, Prissy is
friendly with strangers and
doesn't let their presence
annoy her. And if she doesn’t
want to be held by someone
she doesn't know or if she
doesn't want to play with

A Gentlemen’s Agreement
-
To better serve the motoring public in this area,
Bob’s Used Cars and Carter Motor Cos. have entered
into an agreement by which new and used cars will be
available from either dealer.
So, if you see anew Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler,
Colt or Arrow on Bob's Used Car lot, you will know that
Harry put it there and that Bob will sell it to you. The
same goes for a used car owned by Bob. Harry will be
glad to sell you one of those.
We believe that this cooperative sales agreement
can best serve the interests of all who are in the market
for either anew or used car.

some children who might be

minutes alone.
To further illustrate her
easy going qualities, Prissy
even likes to travel and on
the long trips to Mr. and Mrs.
Smith’s home state of
Arkansas, she sleeps most of
the way.
Prissy is a late sleeper, and
usually after she gets up for
an early morning walk, she
likes to go back to bed.
However, she loves to play
outside much more than she
does inside and therefore she
has to be watched closely
because she tends to wander
from her yard.

she hears them leaving or
