leaves no family nor any one to grieve

Rev. B. F. Wilcox preached at Trin
ity Methodist church last Sunday
night. Bro. Glenn being away on
account of the illness of his mother.
The services which are being con
ducted at the First Methodist church
by Rev. Mr. Oakes, evangelist, are
very interesting, indeed.
Rev. W. H. Scruggs preached a
very fine sermon at the Baptist
church Sunday. No one ever go to
hear him preach, but what they are
encouraged to go again.
The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. R.
J. Clayton, died at their home Monday
night. The funeral services were con
ducted by Rev. W. 11. Scruggs. He
was buried in Lott cemetery on Tues
day.
Mbs Mattie Freeman went to Doug
las to see her sister, Agnes, last Wed
nesday morning. She returned Thurs
day.
--Lawyer E. K. Wilcox fainted in the
court room yesterdey morning. Dr.
Terrell was summoned to hiip and soon
brought him around alright.
