It is hereby ordered by the Court that One and 55-100 per cent or
*1.55 on the SltiO of the taxable property of said county as per Tax
Dipest of 1924’be and the same is hereby levied for County pur
poses: ,
Also the further sum of 50-100 of One per cent or Fifty cents on
the one hundred dollars of the taxable property of said County,
EXCEPT the property within the city of Clayton, as per Tax Dipest
of 1924 is hereby levied for School purposes as assessed and certified
to by the County Hoard of Education of said County.
Also an extra Local tax of 50-100 of One per rent or fifty cents on
each one hundred Dollars of the taxable property within the •Valley-
Consolidated School District as per Tax Digest of 1924, is hereby
levied for the support of said Valley School us certified by the Coun
ty Superintendent.
It Is further ordereil that all of said levy he collected by the tax
Collector of said County for the year 1924, for the following pur
poses, to wit:
1st- 35-10U of One per cent or thirty five cents on the *100, to pay
the lepai indebtedness of said County due. or to become due during
the year, or past due, to meet the necessary current expenses for
said year 1924, additional taxe« as recommended by Grand Jury of
said County.
2nd- 25-100 of One per cent, or twenty five cents on oach *100, to
build or repair Court houses, Jails, bridges or other public im-
ptovements. .
3rd- 12-100 of fine percent or twelve cents on each $100, to pay
Sheriff’s, Jailors, or other officers fees that they may lie legally en
titled to out of the County.
4th - 2-100 of One per cent or two cents on the $100, to pay Coro
ners all fees that may he due them out of the County for holding
Inquests.
5th- 10-100 of One per cent or ten cents on the 1100, to pay the ex
pense of County Bailiffs at Courts, non resident witnesses in Crim
inal cases, fuel, servant hire, stationery and the like.

a per diem compensation.
7th-- 20-lt)0 of One per cent or twenty cents on the $100, to pay ex
panses incurred in supporting the poor of the County, and as other
wise prescribed by the Code of Georgia.
8th- 40-100 of One per cent or forty cents cn the $100, to pay for
building and keeping in repair the public roads of said County.
9th- 50-100 of One percenter fifty cents on the $100, as assessed
by the County Hoard of Education for educational purposes.
10th- 50-100 of One per cent or fifty cents on each $100, of the tax
able property of "Valley Consolidated School District "'extra tax in-
cured by vote of ta* payers* of said Dist,, for support of Valley
School.
Making in the aggregate the said sum of *1.55 on the $100. of the
taxable property for County purposes, and the further sum of fifty
cents on the 8100. for Local School tax. EXCEPT the property within
the incorporate limits of the City of Clayton, also an extra tax of
50-100 of One per cent or fifty cents on the $100, of the taxable prop
erty within the "Valley Consolidated School District.” as above
specified for the year 1924.
Further ordered that the Tax Collector, and Bank of Clayton De
pository, each be furnished with a copy of this order.
Let a copy be posted at the Court House door of said Countv, and
a copy be published in the Clayton Tribune once a week for four
successive weeks, and that the original hereof be recorded on the
Minuets of this Court.
Given my hand and official signature this the 6th day of Septem
