Nashville Daily Bun.
The Jury of Awards, selected by the
Centennial Company, displayed rare'good
judgment in o^ly bestowing medals
the custom usually shown by expoi
tion juries of award, made their decisions
only after the closest possible inspection
of the different exhibits. Among the
few firms that received their approbation
not one was more decerving than the
Owensboro Wagon Company, who re
ceived the bronze medal on farm wagons
The exhibit of this now noted company
consisted of six farm wagons and one
four wheel city drag. The latter was
hardly placed properly on exhibition be
fore it was bought by a denier in Pari*,
Tex. He pronounced it the best drag he
had ever seen. The other wagons were
of different sizes, but the one in which
the Owensboro people take especial pride.

their time and energy to bring to absolute
perfection, the one they presented for
the Inspection of the eminent Jury of
Awards, and which received the highest
honors given any farm wagon at the
Tennessee Centennial Exposition, was
their famous three inch cast skein farm
wagon. This is the size and style wagon
that every farmer must have, as it is the
size most adapted to general farm use,
giving more satisfactory results in every
way, and no farmer, no matter in what
section of the country he may live, but
would be fortunate if lie possessed an
Owensboro farm wagon. The company
which manufactures this wagon was es
tablished about the year 1875 at Owens
boro, Ivy., and from the first day their
motto was to make the best wag m pos
sible and place it in the Itands of their
patrons at a price very cheap, taking the
character of the workmanship into con
sideration. They met with success from
the start, until now they have one of the
most splendidly equipped wagon making
plants in the entire Southern States.
Their product is of a strictly superior
order, and when once they sell a wagon
to a farmer they secure a friend and
custoraei for life.
