Mr. John Glrrett, one of the well

MRS. H. M. SUMNER.
Mrs. H. M. Sumner, aged 35years, j
who lived near Sumner. Worth coun
ty, died Monday morning at
o’clock of pneumonia. She had been •
sick only a few days when she was
called by the Master, who doeth all
things well
About two weeks prior to her
death, her babe, eighteen months
old. died, also of pneumonia. The
mother was laid to rest by the side
of the little babe in the Sumner
cemetery at 3 o’clock Monday after
noon and the funeral serviced were
conducted by Rev. S. S. Kemp.
v ' Besides her husband, she is sur
vived by three children: two girls,
aged 10 and 8; and one boy five years
old; also her parents. Mr. and Mrs
Thompson, near Sumner; 3
sisters, Mrs. G. M. Souter, of Shing-
ler; Mrs. W. M. Forshee, of Cover-
dale. and Mrs. G. D. Shepherd, of
Sycamore: two brothers, J. R. and
Horace Thompson, near Sumner.
Although not connected with any
church, she spid: She was "going to
Heaven and meet the loved ones who
were beckoning” her to come.
The large attendance at the fun
eral and the floral contributions
spoke the esteem in which she t
held by those who knew her.
The many friends join in sym
pathy for the husband and family in
