Thanks the Friend
Mr. Editor:
V Please allow me through the
columns of your excellent and
deservedly popular paper, to
thank the kind friend who gave
to the M. M. School a nice dic
tionary. In doing a kindness
he evidently believed in the word
of the Bible, “Let not thy right
hand know what thy leit hand
doeth,” for although several
weeks have passed, we have not
found out the name of the donor.
We thank the giver very much,
however, for no more acceptable
or useful present could be given.
Mrs A. A. Simonton and Mrs
W. C. Adamson have both read
to the children since I last wrote
to you The children appreciate
the Kindness 0 f these ladies very
muchj Another thing they ap
preciate also is the two days
holiday given for Thanksgiving
by the School Board.
