Revival at the Methodist
ten - dor-nos?
The Bass-Stapleton meeting which
began last Sunday at the Methodist j
Church is attracting the attention of
the whole city, and the indications 1
are that this will be one of the'
graetest revivals ever held in Car
rollton. Every service has been
largely attended and it seems the
attendance increases with interest.
Mr. Bass is a preacher equal to
the occasion, and one would have
to go a long way to find a more
forceful and plain speaker in his
earnest efforts to win souls for
the Lord. Mr. Bass posses a genial
disposiition which enables him to
hold the undivided attention of his
audience while he presents some
very plain, wholesome and k soul-stir-
ing truths, ,
Mr. Stapleton, the singer, arrived
Monday and has directed the music
which is a very beautiful and im
portant feature of the work.
It is indeed refreshing to observe
the co-operation by ihe pastors and
Christian members of the various
churches of the city.
