SULPHUR CLEARS
ROUGH, RED SKIN
Face, Neck and Arms Easily
Made Smooth, Says
Specialist
Any breaking out of the skin, even
fiery, itching eczema, can he quickly
overcome by applying a little Mentho-
Snlphiir, declares a noted skin special
ist Because of its germ destroying
properties, this sulphur preparation be
gins at once to soothe irritated skin and
iteal eruptions such as rash, pimples and
ring worm.
It seldom fails to remove the torment
and disfigurement, and you do not have
to wait for relief from embarrassment.
Improvement quickly shows Sufferers
from skin trouble should obtain a small
jar of Kowles Mentho-Sulphur from
any good druggist and we it like cold
cream.
TO DARKEN HAIR
APPLY SAGE TEA
Look Young! Bring Back It* I
Natural Color, Glow and
Attractiveneaa
Common garden sage brewed into a
heavy tea with sulphur added, will turn
? Tay, streaked and faded hair bcauti-
ully dark and luxuriant. Just a few
applications will prove a revelation if
your hair is fading, streaked or gray.
Mixing the Sage Tea and Sulphur rec
ipe at home, though, is troublesome.
An easier way is to get a bottle of
Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound
at any drug store all ready for use.
This is the old-time recipe improved by
the addition of other ingredients.
While wispy, gray, faded hair is not
sinful, we all desire to retain our
outhful appearance and attractiveness.
5y darkening your hair with Wyeth’s
Sage and Sulphur Compound, no one
can tell, because it does it so naturally,
so evenly. You just dampen a sponge
or soft brush with it and draw this
through your hair, taking one small
strand at a time; by morning all gray
hairs have disappeared, and, after an
other application or two, your hair be
comes beautifully dark, glossy, soft and
luxuriant.

TURN ON ELECTRIC
LIGHTS IN YOUR HOME
When your kidneys hurt and your
hack feels sore, don't get scared and
proceed to load your stomach with a
lot of drugs that excite the kidneys
and irritate the entire urinary tract.
Keep your kidneys clean like you keep
your bowels clean, by flushing them
with a mild, harmless salts which helps
to remove the body’s urinous waste
and stimulate them 1 to their normal
activity.
The function of the kidneys -is to
filter the blood. In 24 hours they strain
from it 500 grains of acid and waste,
so we can readily understand the vital
importance of keeping the kidneys active.
Drink lots of good water—you can’t
drink too much; also get from any
pharmacist about four ounces of Jad
Salts. Take a tablespoonful in a glass
of water before breakfast each morn
ing for a few days and your'kidneys
tnay then act fine.. This famous salts
is made from the acid of grapes and
lemon juice, combined with lithia, and
has been used for years to help clean
and stimulate clogged kidneys; also to
neutralize the acids in the system so
they are no longer a source of irrita
tion. thus often relieving bladder weak
ness.
Jad Salts in inexpensive; can not in
jure; makes a delightful effervescent
lithia-water drink which everyone should
take now and then to help keep their
kidneys clean and active. Try this; also
keep up the water drinking, and no
doubt you will wonder what became of
your kidney trouble and backache. By
all means have your physician examine
your kidneys at least twice a vear.

ALPHABET PUZZLES
New and attractive features to please the children and gain
the interest of parents. Below is shown the first of this new
series of juvenile features—something for a “children’s cor
ner.”
These features will entertain and stir the inquiring faculties
of the child. Mother will also become interested.
“Alphabet Puzzles” are a variation and an improvement
on the hidden picture puzzle. They are confined to 27 sub
jects, each carrying a rhyme and an illustration attractive to
the eye. Each illustration contains hidden pictures. They
teach the alphabet, create an elemental idea of poetry and
awaken the imagination of the child. Finding the hidden pic
tures furnishes an agreebale manner of entertainment, whilei
r-fxei’cising the child’s observation and developing its idea of
form. Instructions in small type accompanying each illustra
tion show the parent or instructor which way the picture is to
be turned in order that the child may puzzle out the concealed
faces.
These puzzles form an exceptionally good scrapbook fea
ture—something to be cut out and preserved.
They are especially commendable for the attractive, cheer
ful drawings, each filled with the spirit of childhood. They
are the work of Violet Moore Higgins, an artist who has spe
cialized very successfully in this class of illustrating. The lit
tle ones will take great joy in the pictures and rhymes and in
working out the puzzles.

ing Deleo-Liglit, the well-known farm

[just announced.
j The announcement of this plan is
| especially directed to those who live
I in farm homes, it is stated. “We want
to make it easy for tho farmer to have
I electricity in his home, and to khow
I beforehand, just what the whole thing
I will cost him,” declared officials of
the Deleo-Liglit Company, in response
to questioning about this remnrkahle
plan.
Briefly stated, the plan is to furnish
a standard model Deleo-Liglit plant nnd
.storage battery, to install it complete,
wire the house for ten lights, put in
ten drop lights, complete even to the
electric blubs in the sockets, put in n
general power outlet anywhere in the'
house the owner may choose, in short, to
furnish a complete Deleo-Liglit instal
lation, “Ready to turn on the lights,’’
ns stated above.
Low prices aro assured, on all models
and, in addition, financing of the pur
chase is taken care of, where necessary
by an easy payment plan which calls
for only a small cash payment. The
Deleo-Liglit Company is well-known for
its efforts at spreading tho benefits of
electricity in the country, nnd many
thousands of farm homes today know
what these benefits are, thanks to the
kindly influence of these widely known
Deleo-Liglit. plants. It is safe to pre
dict, with the aid of a plan like this
and with so many thousands able to en
joy the advantages of electricity, ae-
eordingly, that great numbers will tnke
advantage of the oportunity which the
Deleo-Liglit Company offers, to buy
their own Deleo-Light plants this full
