Victory circuit of tho M. P. church
will bo held at New Hopo church on
Friday, Octobor tho 26th. Rev. J. R.
Anderson, conference president, will bo
there to hold this conference. All in
terested persons will take due notice.

Mr. E. E. Twiggs, the now Secretary
of tho Carroll County Trade Board,
comes to us highly rocommonded from
Cartersvillo, Ga. Mr. Twiggs made a
very favorable impression on tho Board
of Directors and it is hoped that ho
will use all his forces toward pushing
tho work of the Trade Board. It now
depends upon tho peoplo of the town
to co-operate with Mr. Twiggs and help
him to make a success of this work.

1. Times and Place of Future Meet
ings: At 2:20 P. M. tho second Sun
days in January, April and May. Extrn
meotings at the discretion of tho chair-
onan. Meetings to bo held in Carrollton
in the First and Tabernaelo churches.
2. Appointment of Stewardship
Leader: Lender, Rev. J. T. Roberts;
Assistant Leaders, B ;F. Roop, Ernest
Dillard, H. O. Lovvorn, J. T. Hixon,
W. D. Duncan nnd C. O. Jones.
Recommendation that each church In
the Association name jx stewardship
leader to co-oprate with the associa-
tionnl and district leaders.
3. Stewardship Classes. Recommon-
up to dnto. In addition to this the
crops on tho county’s form nro fine
and will reduce tho feed bill for con
victs nnd paupers materially during the
next year.
Commissioner Broom has just com
pleted tho last lap of tho Bankhead
highway from Carrollton to Villa Rica
nnd is now engaged in building a stnte
highway from Cnrrellton to Bremen,
which is part of state highway No. 1,
from Chattanooga, Tenu., to Tallahas
see, Fla.
