Do you patronize Home Industries? Those of you who have been making
your purchases away from Carrollton should think before doing so again. Think
who sympathizes with you when you had sickness at home? Think who helped
when you needed help badly? Most surely not the strangers far away?

they just meant tho boys, and nt that it

Dear Free Press:
Thanksgiving day passed and found
us with many, very many things to bo
thankful for. We yet have life, the
greatest and most prized boon given to
nnd possessed by anything earthly;
friends, other than which but* few
things of earth are more precious; good
government, in nation, state- and county,
which we should strive for and appre
ciate moro than wo do; “tho old-time
religion, which all our churches should
be in possession of “from tho rivers
to tho ends of the earth’’ and many
blessings growing out of it. This was
tho 77th passed since tho day, Dccem
her 7th, 1845, when your correspon
dent was born, nonr tlio factory, in his
father’s humble cabin. And wo aro ypt

How grateful wo should bo. To tho
one who is blessed with long life, good
health, true friends and freo govern

that to somo extent, wo arc.
We arc to have now preachers at the
Camp Ground, nml also at New Hope,
Wo regret the going away of the old
ones, lint wish tho new ones may bo as
faithful and devoted to duty ns they
were.
