HOSTETTER’S
STOMAGHJBITTERS.
Tlic proprietors and manufactursis of EOS
TKTTKii’S CEI.KBR.VTED STOMACH BIT
TERS can appeal with perfect confulence to
pliyeietausajnt eitiz ns generally of tho litiuil
fitaies. because the Article has attained n repu
tation heretofore unknown. A few facts upon
tiii- point will speak more powerfully than
volumes of bare assertion Or bldzoniltg puffery.
The consumption of Hostetler’s Stomach Bit
ters for the lust year amounted to over a lml:-
iiißlion bottles, and front its manifest steady
increase in times past, it mevident that during
tiie coming year tho consumption v. ill reach
near one million bottles. This itiimeiise amount
could never have been sold but for the rate
medicinal properties contained in the prepara
tion, and the sanction of the most promimta
physicians in those sections of the country
where the article is best known, who net only
recommend lhe Litters to their patients, bm
are ready at all times to give testimonials to its
cliicucy in all cases of otonmcliic derangements
and the diseases resulting Iherelrom.
Tiiis is notn temporary popularity, obtained
by extraordinary efforts in the 1 way of trum
peting the- qualities of the I’iltcrs, but a solid
estimation of an invaluable medicine, which ia
destined to bo ns enduring as lime itself.
Hostetler’s Stomach liilters have proved
a Godsend to regions where fever mat nguo
and various ether bilious complaints Lava
’ counted their victims l.y hundreds. To he
aide to state confidently that the “Ritters”
are a certain cure for the Dyspepsia and like
diseases, is to Ihe proprietors tv source of un
alloyed pleasure. It removes nil morbid matter
front the stomach, purifies the blood, and
imparls renewed vitality to the nervous system,
g viug it that tone mid energy iiidispew able
tor the restoration of health. Jt opettues upon
the stomach, liver, and other digestive orgtihs,
mild y hut powerfully, and soon restores them
tu a condition essential to the healthy discharge
of the functions of nature.
Elderly persons may use the Billers daily tm
per directions on the bottle, and they will “hmV
in it a stimulant peculiarly fiduplad to comfort
declining years, as it is pleasant to the palate,
invigorating to the bowels, excellent ns a tonic,
and rejuvenating generally. We hare the evi
dence of thou sands of aged men and women
who have experienced the benefit of using this
preparation while suffering from stomach dc
t.itigeui: tits and general debility; acting under
llie ad’ ice of physicians, they have abandoned
nil deleterious drugs and fairly tested the
Jner’ts of this article. A few words to the
r t'*X. There arc certain periods w hen
. 1,.-’- c „ . s ar? S(? harassing that many of them
: under the trial. The relation of mother
and child is to absorbingly tender, that the
moth®', especially if she be young, is apt to
forget her own health in her extreme anxiety
for her infant. Should the period of maternity
arrive during Ihe summer season, the wear of
body and mind is generally aggravated. Mere,
then, is a necessity for u stimulant to recupe
rate the energies of the system, and cnnblo the
’ mother to hear lip under her exhausting trials
and responsibilities. Nursing mothers gene
rally prefer the Ritters to all oilier iuvignro
tors that receive the endorsement of physi
cians, because it is agreeable to the taste na
well as certain to give a permanent increase
of bodily strength. %
All those poisons, to whom we have pnrficu
lorly referred above, to wit: sufferers from
fuver and ngue, caused by malaria, diarrhoea,
dysentery, indigestion, loss of appetite, and
nil diseases or derangements of the stomach,
superannuated invalids, persons of sedentary
occupation, and nursing mothers, will consult
their own physical welfare by giving to Hos
tetler’s Celebrated Stomach Bitters a trial.
CAUTION’.—We caution the public against
using any of the ninny imitations ot counter
feits, but ask for HnsTKTTrn’s Cri riirsTi n
Rtuuaui Rittsus. and tea that each bottle has
the words “Dr. J. Hostetler's Stomach Ritters”
blown ou the side of the bottle, and stamped
on the metallic cap covering the rark. and
observe that our autograph kignatur* is on ib
label.
